3 wood – Taylormade burner superfast
Posted: July 25th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: 3 wood | Tags: Taylormade | 2 Comments »First impressions of this 3 wood from Taylormade were mixed, it looks okay but does it say as much as having a big bertha in my bag? Then I had a go. I hit a whole bucket of balls all from the matt rather than off the tee. That’s the only way to really test drive a 3 wood I think. The thing I most wanted to see is if it adds 10 yards to the length of shot.
Not bad price either click here
A whole bucket of balls in and I’m convinced it does. The ‘superfast’ technology as described on the website makes it swift and lightweight to swing. I know size isn’t everything, but it really is big for a 3 wood and nicely forgiving. Even when I knew I’d hit a poor to middle shot it didn’t punish me the way other 3 woods can. I suggest going down to your local range and having a go, it’ll cost the price of a bucket of balls but hopefully add some distance and save you some shots on the course.
I found it on the JJB sports site here for a reasonable price
Oh yeah, you also get a free headcover when you buy it
If you find it anywhere else cheaper online please add a comment below

I bought the wood recently and agree with this article completely. It’s ‘forgiving’ and on the 2 rounds I’ve used it for have hit longer even reaching a par 5 in 2 on one occassion. Couldn’t recommend it more.
thanks
